Knit - tastic

Here at by-louise ceramics is supposed to be our thing, but as we've been doing some Internet surf's up dude research we've come across some great contemporary ideas that uses a skill which dates back 100's of years...yes you've guessed it knitting!

Donna Wilson's cloud blanket just makes you feel like you want curl up for an afternoon nap on cloud nine, while her knitted cupcakes are truly good enough to eat! A little woolly we suspect!

Now this young man and his moustache have been knitted for a very good cause indeed.Stitch and Bitch London, are London's feisty but friendly knitting group who organise knit 'meet up's' all across London absolutely free! This year they organised 'Knit Crawl 2009' for a manlier cause (as they put it) - Prostate Cancer. So as part of this manlier theme they knitted moustaches, in all shapes and colours. We absolutely love Strikk Handknits! It's the idea of giving such a traditional classic knitting pattern a contemporary twist, and the shocking pink just adds the glamour!
